I’m a busy mom to Riley, 17 and Cole, 15. I’ve been working in marketing for over 20 years. I love to be creative and think outside the box.
When I was a little girl, I was diagnosed with severe dyslexia. My parents were told that I might never learn to read or write. Luckily, I was also a very stubborn girl, and (quite) a few years later, here I am launching my first children’s book!
Why a mouse?
The original Mouse in the Hammock has been a family heirloom for generations. It’s a highly treasured Christmas tree decoration. It has brightened up our Christmas trees for years and I love the idea that it will continue to do so for children all over the world.
Our family mouse story started with…
’Tis the night before Christmas,
And all through the house

Mouse's Mission
Just like the mouse in our story, we believe that you don’t have to be big to make a big impact.
Simply by purchasing this book, your children will be making a big difference to another child in the world, as we will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Maison des Enfant de Dieu (House of the Children of the Lord), an orphanage in Haiti that is home to over 60 children most of whom have been abandoned since a devastating earthquake either by loss of parents or birth parents who cannot care for them.
